Google Play Store web site can now update, uninstall apps remotely

Google expanded the functionality of its Google Play Store web site to allow desktop users to remotely update or uninstall apps on their Android smartphones and tablets. Prior to this change, it was only possible to install new apps remotely - you couldn't uninstall apps or update them through the web interface. Now, users only have to press update or uninstall when viewing an app on the website, and that app will be updated or removed from their device. Unfortunately, some apps are not compatible with the uninstall feature, as many carrier and system apps are locked to the phone and cannot be removed.
