Dropbox doubles capacities of Pro plans without raising prices, adds new 500GB tier

Cloud storage service Dropbox has announced that starting today, it is doubling the storage capacities of its existing Pro plans to 100GB and 200GB without raising their annual cost. Customers that were paying $9.99 per month or $99 per year for 50GB of online storage will now be able to access 100GB of space at no additional charge, while those on the old 100GB plan that cost $19.99 per month or $199 per year will enjoy 200GB of storage. Additionally, Dropbox is introducing a new 500GB option that costs $49.99 per month or $499 per year. Finally, Dropbox is also giving all of its Pro plan customers a three-month Pro 100 trial subscription that can be shared with a friend or family member.
