The Tri-Cities Airport has secured federal funds that can assist pay for parts of the terminal growth it not too long ago kicked off.
The Federal Aviation Administration will present $7 million to the airport as half of its Airport Infrastructure Grant program, in line with a launch. U.S. Sens. Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray helped safe the grant.
“As passenger visitors continues to interrupt data, this funding ensures the airport can meet future demand whereas supporting native jobs and financial growth that profit the area,” Cantwell stated in a press release.
