NEW YORK — Clarke Schmidt pitched seven hitless innings and the New York Yankees held the Baltimore Orioles to at least one hit in a 9-0 rout on Saturday.
JT Brubaker gave up a single to Gary Sánchez to open the eighth for the Orioles’ solely hit.
