HENDERSON, Nev. — Barely a day following the Las Vegas Raiders’ agreement to send Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens, the esteemed defensive end declared he harbors “no animosity whatsoever” for the club and hopes to conclude his career as a Raider eventually.
“I believe I gave my absolute all for this squad,” Crosby stated in a 13-minute video, uploaded to his social platforms. “I poured my heart and soul into it. I sense I disappointed you all. From the very beginning, my ambition was to establish a winning legacy with the Raiders.”
Friday marked the conclusion of Crosby’s tenure with the Raiders, following seven campaigns and 110 appearances, as Las Vegas dispatched him to Baltimore in return for the 14th selection in April’s draft and a top-round choice in 2027, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The transaction won’t be finalized until Wednesday, with the commencement of the fresh league year.
Crosby characterized the period preceding this choice as a “maelstrom.”
“I genuinely never imagined finding myself in this situation. Honestly, I never anticipated moving to another team. This wasn’t my intention, but circumstances unfold for a purpose,” Crosby remarked.
Crosby mentioned that Raiders’ general manager, John Spytek, had been “exemplary” during the entire procedure.

He extended gratitude to proprietor Mark Davis, minority stakeholder Tom Brady, and the remainder of the Raiders’ management collective.
“I desire [the Raiders] to attain utmost global triumph,” Crosby expressed. “… My aims were honest from the outset. I recognize numerous individuals harbored inquiries and worries, particularly over the preceding weeks and months. I opted for silence amidst the excessive clamor, as at my core, I am an athlete.
“… I’ve absorbed lessons from prior errors of over-engagement.”
Crosby affirmed his deep allegiance to Silver and Black, declaring himself a “Raider eternally.”
Crosby refrained from making grand forecasts regarding his tenure in Baltimore. Nevertheless, he eagerly anticipates assisting the Ravens in fulfilling their Super Bowl ambitions.
Crosby confirmed he has already conversed with Ravens’ general manager Eric DeCosta and head coach Jesse Minter.
“I understand there are no assurances in this endeavor,” Crosby stated. “However, I intend to dedicate my utmost effort and spirit to deliver a championship to Baltimore. Further elaboration on that is unnecessary.
“… I am immensely thrilled. I eagerly await arriving in the city and encountering everyone.”
