In a press release to FOX Enterprise, a PayPal spokesperson described the outage as a “transient service disruption.”
“PayPal and Venmo skilled a short service disruption that has since been resolved,” the spokesperson wrote.

Hours earlier, YouTube confirmed customers had been unable to play movies Wednesday evening, noting they had been “on it.”
Downdetector reported greater than 800,000 customers reported points on the platform inside an hour.
YouTube later posted to social media saying the difficulty was resolved.
