Rumaih bin Mohammed Al-Rumaih, Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics and Acting President of the Public Transport Authority

Rumaih bin Mohammed Al-Rumaih, Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics and Acting President of the Public Transport Authority, stated that work is underway to expand the coverage of public transport projects to include most medium and large cities in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement to “News 24” on the sidelines of the launch of the operation phase of the public bus transport project in Tabuk, he expected the number of cities with public transport projects to reach 25.
The number of cities currently with public transport projects is 16, with upcoming projects in Al-Ahsa, Abha, Khamis Mushait, and other cities, said the official.
According to Argaam‘s data, Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Tabuk Region, inaugurated yesterday the actual operation phase of the public bus transport project in the city of Tabuk.
The operation includes a modern urban transport network covering 5 main routes with a total length of 136 kilometers, operated by 30 modern buses driven by 90 qualified Saudi drivers. The buses stop at 106 stations distributed across the city, connecting the main vital locations in Tabuk and facilitating daily movement for citizens, residents, and visitors.
