TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama defensive again Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest over the weekend, coach Kalen DeBoer stated Monday.
Kirkpatrick was arrested Saturday on three counts of reckless endangerment and one depend of making an attempt to elude and dashing. He was launched from Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $1,500 bond.
“Sadly, with the knowledge that I’ve at the moment, I talked to Dre, and we have to indefinitely droop him,” DeBoer stated. “He understands there are penalties that include his actions.”
Kirkpatrick, a sophomore and son of former Alabama defensive again and NFL veteran Dre Kirkpatrick, has eight tackles, together with one for a loss, one go protection and a compelled fumble this season.
No. 4 Alabama hosts LSU on Saturday.
