The Boston Celtics are buying and selling Jrue Vacation to the Portland Path Blazers for Anfernee Simons and two second-round draft picks, sources informed ESPN on Monday evening.
Portland moved aggressively to re-acquire Vacation, whom the franchise initially acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks within the Damian Lillard commerce in 2023 and later moved to Boston in a deal that netted the Blazers two first-round picks.
Simons joins Boston on an expiring contract.
