The NFL has suspended Daron Payne for one sport after the Commanders defensive lineman punched Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown on Sunday.
The NFL introduced Monday that Payne was suspended with out pay for unsportsmanlike conduct. He has the choice to enchantment the suspension.
The Commanders are scheduled to play the Dolphins in Madrid subsequent Sunday. Payne could be eligible to return to the crew the next day.
Payne was ejected within the second quarter of Sunday’s 44-22 loss to the Lions. It marked the primary profession ejection for the eight-year veteran.
