A federal decide in Washington state is briefly blocking the Trump administration from terminating collective bargaining rights for TSA workers.

Decide Marsha Pechman issued the preliminary injunction on Monday after the American Federation of Authorities Workers (AFGE) challenged an order from the Division of Homeland Safety (DHS).

The unions are accusing the Trump administration of participating in “an illegal and unilateral termination of a negotiated union contract that protects roughly 47,000 Transportation Safety Officers (TSOs),” in keeping with the AFGE, which filed the lawsuit in March.

In her order, Pechman stated that AFGE’s case towards the order was compelling, and referred to the DHS orders because the “Noem Willpower.”

The ruling comes three months after FOX Enterprise first realized DHS meant to finish collective bargaining for sure TSA employees in early March.
