Donald Trump has mentioned he plans to impose a 50 per cent tariff on imports from the EU on June 1, saying that talks with the bloc are “going nowhere”.
In a put up on his Fact Social platform on Friday, the US president accused the EU of making the most of the US on commerce and mentioned: “Our discussions with them are going nowhere! Due to this fact I’m recommending a straight 50% Tariff on the European Union, beginning on June 1, 2025.”
