An Oregon jury discovered former NBA guard Ben McLemore responsible Thursday of raping a lady in 2021 whereas he was enjoying for the Portland Path Blazers.
Following deliberations that lasted about 10 hours following an 11-day trial, the jury in Clackamas County discovered the 32-year-old McLemore, who hasn’t performed within the NBA since 2022, responsible on one cost of first-degree rape, one cost of first-degree illegal sexual penetration and one depend of second-degree sexual abuse.
The jury did not discover him responsible on a further depend of second-degree sexual abuse. McLemore had pled not responsible to all 4 counts.
His sentencing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9 at 9:30 a.m. PT.
The costs stem from a report of sexual assault in Lake Oswego, Oregon, on Oct. 3, 2021. Police started investigating, and McLemore was recognized as a suspect.
