ATLANTA — Orlando Magic guard Desmond Bane was ejected within the third quarter towards the Atlanta Hawks following a flagrant foul on Onyeka Okongwu and an ensuing technical foul.
Okongwu caught an extended move down courtroom over Bane and was moving into for a layup when Bane grabbed Okongwu’s forearm on his approach up for a tough foul. The Hawks’ large man fell to the ground laborious and because the ball went up within the air, Bane fired it onto Okongwu.
Bane was assessed a flagrant one for the laborious foul and a technical foul for steering the ball at Okongwu with 5:24 left within the third quarter. The ejection occurred after officers reviewed the play and an upset Bane disagreed and questioned the ejection.
The Magic trailed the Hawks by 14 on the time of the ejection and would path by 85-65 on the 5:16 mark shortly after Bane left the sport. Bane left with 9 factors and 4 fouls in 22 minutes.
