The Detroit Tigers agreed to a commerce Monday to amass beginning pitcher Chris Paddack from the Minnesota Twins, sources instructed ESPN, confirming an preliminary report from The Athletic.
The Tigers may even obtain right-hander Randy Dobnak within the deal, with catching/first-base prospect Enrique Jimenez going to the Twins, sources instructed ESPN.
Paddack, 29, is a free agent at season’s finish who carried a 4.95 ERA by means of his first 21 begins, hanging out 83 batters and strolling 27 in 111 innings.
