Los Angeles Angels first baseman Nolan Schanuel on tempo for his fourth house run of the season on Monday. Sadly for him, Athletics heart fielder Denzel Clarke had the ultimate say.
Schanuel hit an 86 miles per hour splitter off Athletics pitcher Grant Holman deep into heart area within the backside of the primary inning. The baseball went over the wall — however Clarke elevated and hung within the air to snag the ball for an acrobatic catch.
Holman put his fingers above his head whereas Clarke celebrated his seize. All Schanuel may do was stare blank-faced towards heart area in awe.

Clarke practically fell towards the rocks deep in Angel Stadium to make the play, however managed to maintain himself and the baseball contained in the park to file the out.
The house run theft comes weeks after the 25-year-old made an identical play towards the Toronto Blue Jays on Could 30. He climbed the middle area wall to catch a drive from Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk.
