    Staff 78 AIR STRIKE, a Rhode Island-based FIRST Robotics Competitors (FRC) highschool robotics crew, sponsored by the Naval Undersea Warfare Heart (NUWC) Division Newport, concluded its 2025 competitors season with distinction, reaching the playoffs and ending among the many prime 16 alliances on this planet within the Daly Division on the 2025 FIRST Robotics World Championship held in Houston, Texas, April 16-19.

    The crew’s robotic represented essentially the most superior engineering achievement in crew historical past, in keeping with Division Newport crew mentors.     Together with DeSousa and Sieben, the crew is supported by the next engineers and scientists from Division Newport: Mark Seidman, Sensors and Sonar Methods Division; Carly Winters, Fight Methods Division; USW Electromagnetic Methods Division employees, Aidan Lynch and Josh Wolf; Ranges, Engineering and Evaluation Division worker, Richard Blight, Thomas Dolan, and Elizabeth Stevens; and Alex Cory, USW Weapons, Autos, and Defensive Methods Division. 

    After its aggressive season, AIR STRIKE will take part in two upcoming applications—BattleCry, being held in June 7-8 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts, and the Summer season and Fall Analysis and Growth Initiatives, which concentrate on continued know-how improvement.
