Kim achieves an ace
Kim demonstrated his prowess in crucial moments for Jupiter Links last season, a trend that persisted this year. After reducing The Bay’s lead to 6-5 on Hole 13, Jupiter decided to make Hole 14 worth two points, and Kim subsequently took care of the rest. He achieved a hole-in-one from 138 yards, elevating Jupiter to a 7-6 lead. This marked only the second-ever hole-in-one in TGL history. Interestingly, the TGL’s inaugural hole-in-one was recorded by Neal Shipley for The Bay earlier in this season.
Kisner secures the triumph
Following Kim’s outstanding shot, the onus was entirely on Kisner to deliver the victory for his team and send Jupiter to its inaugural playoff appearance. He rose to the occasion. Kisner positioned himself merely 13 feet from the hole after three strokes, and successfully holed the 13-foot putt for the win.
