Following the unraveling of his potential trade to the Baltimore Ravens, Maxx Crosby has indicated his dedication to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Crosby had anticipated heading to Baltimore a few days prior, but the proposed exchange was called off after the Ravens were reportedly troubled by complications arising from the athlete’s physical examination.
The Ravens subsequently shifted their focus to Trey Hendrickson, leaving both Crosby and the Raiders in a state of uncertainty. Nevertheless, the 28-year-old athlete utilized X the previous evening, seemingly content to remain in Vegas.
Crosby conveyed his sentiments, writing: “Everything Happens For A Reason. Believe Nothing You Hear & Half Of What You See. I’m A Raider. I’m Back. Run That Sh*t.”
His online message featured a GIF depicting the erstwhile WWE luminary, the Undertaker, erupting from a casket.
Crosby’s Enthusiasm for Baltimore Transfer
Previously, Crosby had bid adieu to Vegas, detailing his keen anticipation for a relocation to Baltimore under a three-year, $94 million agreement, with the Raiders slated to acquire two first-round draft selections as compensation.
On Saturday, he declared: “I know there’s no guarantees in this. But I’m going to give everything in my heart and soul to bring a championship to Baltimore. There are no more words needed for that.
“I’m so excited. I cannot wait to get out to the city and meet everybody.”
Crosby is now set to dedicate himself to his recuperation following January surgery, which aimed to mend a ruptured meniscus in his left knee.
The athlete’s representative affirmed that the five-time Pro Bowl pass rusher was progressing favorably.
CJ LaBoy posted on X, stating: “Maxx continues to be on track in his recovery and if anything is ahead of schedule, according to his surgeon Dr. Neal El Attrache.
“Maxx remains on track to return during the offseason program & will undoubtedly return as the dominant game wrecker he has been these past seven seasons.”
Across seven seasons spent with Oakland and Las Vegas, Crosby has amassed a total of 439 combined tackles, 69.5 sacks, 11 forced fumbles, three recovered fumbles, 29 deflected passes, and one interception.

Crosby’s Agent Absolves Baltimore of Culpability
Dr. El Attrache conveyed to ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning that Crosby was “doing very well in the early part of his rehab and recovery from surgery to treat a significant meniscus tear and the related stress injury to the bone and cartilage in his knee. He is certainly on track in his planned program.”
He further commented: ”We truly respect the work of the Ravens staff with Maxx regarding the contract physical exam. We also understand the challenge the staff faces when tasked to provide a future risk assessment based on an evaluation early in the recovery process.
”This is especially challenging when dealing with an elite player like Maxx considering the level of commitment necessary for a team to obtain him. The timing of this assessment is unfortunate because the apparent risk will lessen as his recovery progresses and his return to performance over the next few months becomes clear.”
Crosby’s unforeseen presence was not within the Raiders’ original strategy, yet it is not believed to place them in a precarious financial situation.
On Monday, the team invested substantially in the acquisitions of three-time Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum (formerly of the Ravens), along with linebackers Quay Walker and Nakobe Dean, edge rusher Kwity Paye, and wide receiver Jalen Nailor. Concurrently, they are finalizing fresh agreements with cornerback Eric Stokes and edge rusher Malcolm Koonce.
