Previous Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp asserts he would have been extended an offer to rejoin the club had Daniel Levy, the former chairman, still been at the helm.
Presently, Tottenham occupy the 16th position in the league standings, hovering a mere point above the Premier League’s demotion zone. Igor Tudor assumed command in a temporary capacity until the season’s conclusion, following Thomas Frank’s dismissal, yet the outcomes have not yet shown betterment.
Redknapp, who helmed Spurs from 2008 to 2012, disclosed that he recently conferred with Levy concerning the club’s predicament.
Redknapp Discloses Levy Communication
“I received a telephone conversation last week from Daniel, amusingly enough,” Redknapp stated to talkSPORT.
“I believe I had conferred with him only once since I departed all that time ago, and last week I was in my car when unexpectedly, the phone rang; it was Daniel Levy.”
“I considered ‘that’s peculiar’ and I was engaged in conversation with him for approximately thirty minutes, discussing with him as he recounted what had transpired, and how he was forcibly removed from his position, which was truly bizarre.”

“And he indeed stated to me: ‘If I were presently in charge, and I’m not merely uttering it, I would reinstate you until the season’s conclusion, Harry’ – thus, it would have been fascinating.”
Levy relinquished his position at Tottenham last September, and Redknapp conceded he does not anticipate the present administration will approach him regarding a reinstatement.
“I do not believe I will receive the communication.”
While Redknapp remains skeptical about a reinstatement occurring, Jurgen Klinsmann, a previous Spurs striker, has not precluded the potential of assisting the club going forward.
Klinsmann stated: “Who would not covet the position? It is Tottenham.”
“Irrespective of your selection, an individual is required who can emotionally engage with everyone, who profoundly understands the club, who has an affinity for the club, and who comprehends the supporters.”
