The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that over 191,000 Aroeve air purifiers are subject to a recall, following numerous instances of overheating and a single documented blaze.
Officials announced this product withdrawal impacts roughly 191,390 devices of the Aroeve brand air purifiers.
In its recall announcement, the CPSC stated, “These air purifiers are prone to overheating and catching fire, thereby creating risks of fire and burns for users.”

The agency noted that Aroeve has received 37 reports of the air purifiers becoming excessively hot, including one case involving a fire. As yet, no harm to individuals or assets has been documented.
Impacted items consist of model MK04 devices produced prior to July 2025, bearing serial numbers commencing with “BN.” Consumers could acquire these air purifiers in black and white finishes.

The CPSC reported that these devices were offered for sale virtually via Amazon.com, Shopify.com, TEMU.com, and TikTok.com, between September 2024 and June 2025, at a price ranging from $80 to $134.
Aroeve was notified of 37 instances where these air purifiers became excessively warm, with one such report detailing a fire.
