Blue Compass RV President and CEO Jon Ferrando appears on ‘Mornings with Maria’ to analyze escalating fuel costs and explain why he believes recreational vehicle demand remains robust ahead of summer journeys and America’s quarter-millennium commemoration.

An ordnance struck a Thai-flagged cargo vessel near the shores of Oman in the Strait of Hormuz, igniting a blaze aboard.

The Iranian government reportedly asserted culpability for impacting the ship, identified as the Mayuree Naree. The Omani navy provided assistance in rescuing crew members amidst the conflagration, according to Thailand’s Marine Department. Iran has been targeting merchant shipping vessels through this crucial channel due to ongoing friction concerning the global energy sector.

U.S. Central Command subsequently disseminated an advisory to civilians “cautioning that the Iranian regime is employing commercial harbors along the Strait of Hormuz to execute military maneuvers that jeopardize international maritime transport.” CENTCOM emphasized, “This perilous action imperils the safety of non-combatants. Civilian ports utilized for military objectives forfeit their safeguarded designation and transform into lawful hostile targets under international law.”
