Jay Timmons, President and CEO of the National Association of Manufacturers, along with SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler, appeared on ‘Mornings with Maria’ to address President Donald Trump’s ‘Made in America’ initiative and a nationwide drive against government benefit deception.
On Wednesday, Small Business Administrator (SBA) Kelly Loeffler introduced a comprehensive anti-fraud campaign. She declared an audit of a decades-old $50 billion initiative, which she noted had “never been looked at,” and simultaneously banned 112,000 individuals who received loans from future aid due to deceit related to COVID-era financing.
“Many programs across this administration require scrutiny,” Loeffler stated during “Mornings with Maria.”
“I uncovered a program within our department, approximately 50 years old, that had never been reviewed, totaling $50 billion. Consequently, we are auditing every participant in the scheme and re-examining loans from the pandemic period.”

The head of the SBA mentioned that112,000 California borrowersare now permanently barred from receiving any SBA support, having allegedly engaged in fraudulent activities concerning COVID-era lending schemes. She also expressed appreciation to Vice President JD Vance for spearheading the effort against deception.
Last month, during his State of the Union address, President Donald Trump appointed Vance to lead the administration’s “campaign against fraud.” The vice president embraced this responsibility with apledge to eradicate“stolen” taxpayer funds at a systemic level.

“The American populace desires accountability. They want assurances that their diligently earned tax contributions are not falling into the hands of deceivers,” Loeffler asserted.
“Individuals who have come here and established businesses by defrauding the government… we will witness outcomes on this front and ensure it is permanently rectified. These alterations must be robust and enduring for the American taxpayer.”
