On Wednesday, the United Arab Emirates announced that its air defense mechanisms had successfully repelled a further series of offensives launched from Iran.
Authorities reported the interception of six ballistic projectiles, seven cruise missiles, and 39 unmanned aerial vehicles.
In a related development, Saudi Arabia’s defense ministry disclosed it had successfully intercepted three ballistic missiles fired in the direction of Prince Sultan Air Base, along with six drones detected in the kingdom’s Eastern Province.
Notably, one of these unmanned aerial vehicles had been directed towards the Shaybah oilfield, located within the Empty Quarter desert, an area that has progressively transformed into a target over the preceding seven days.
