Collin Morikawa has returned to triumph, claiming victory at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am this Sunday, marking his inaugural success since 2023.
Morikawa secured a birdie on the 18th hole at Pebble Beach, concluding a final-round 67 that afforded him just enough to narrowly surpass Min Woo Lee and Sepp Straka, both of whom were a single shot adrift.
What rendered the occasion even more remarkable for Morikawa was the announcement that he is anticipating becoming a first-time parent later this year, a revelation he shared in a CBS interview immediately after clinching his victory.
He remarked, “We commenced sharing the news with people just this week.” He added, “And we also felt that the most fitting way to reveal it to the world would be if I could emerge triumphant.”
