Sam Darnold has acquired a new addition to his repertoire — a symbolic band of enduring affection.
Following his guidance of the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl LX triumph in February – the club’s initial championship since 2014 – Darnold exchanged vows with his intended spouse, Katie Hoofangle, the previous Friday, as reported byPeople.
The pair, both aged 28, celebrated their union in Rancho Santa Fe, California, before a prominent assembly of guests, featuring Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his spouse, Hailee Steinfeld, alongside San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey and his spouse, Olivia Culpo.
People disclosedthat 227 attendees were present at the nuptials, where a phone-free protocol was enforced, allowing “invitees to savor the occasion, feel at ease, and fully participate.”
Darnold and Hoofangle made their partnership known in 2023, after Hoofangle uploaded a series of images of Darnold to commemorate his 26th birthday. The pair became betrothed in July.
As reported by People, their marriage ceremony was presided over by Darnold’s promotional representative, Tee Stumb. The recently married duo also showcased a musical ensemble, Modern Retrospect, alongside a saxophone player from Second Song, during the celebration.
Darnold, having inked a deal with the Seahawks in March 2025, concluded his standard season with 4,048 aerial yardage and 25 scores.
