NEW YORK — The Yankees activated reliever Luke Weaver from the injured checklist Friday, prior to initially anticipated, to bolster the again finish of their bullpen.
Weaver strained his hamstring whereas stretching within the bullpen on June 1. He was positioned on the injured checklist two days later and was anticipated to overlook four-to-six weeks. Weaver beat that projection, returning in lower than three weeks.
