OPEN EXCLUSIVELY TO LAWFUL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE A MINIMUM OF 18 YEARS OF AGE ON THE DATE OF SUBMISSION
This Activity is neither sponsored, endorsed, nor administered by, nor otherwise affiliated with, Instagram.
By participating in this Activity, entrants acknowledge and consent to be bound by these Official Rules. Any contravention of these regulations may, at the Sponsor’s discretion, lead to disqualification. All determinations made by the Sponsor concerning this Activity are conclusive and obligatory in every respect.
1. ACTIVITY DURATION
The Activity commences on April 1, 2026 at 4:00 pm EST and concludes on April 7, 2026 at 11:59pm EST, by which time all submissions must be gathered (“Activity Period”).
2. QUALIFICATION
This Activity is restricted solely to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old as of the date of entry, excluding executives, board members, associates, and staff of the Sponsor or any other entity involved in the formulation or oversight of this Activity, as well as their immediate family (e.g., parents, offspring, siblings, spouse), and individuals residing in the same household as such persons. This Activity is null and void outside the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, and wherever prohibited by law. The victor may be required to supply verification of identity, domicile, and age to collect a prize.
3. METHOD OF PARTICIPATION
There are two avenues for participation: (1) Express approval of the promotional announcement on Instagram, follow @soundboks on Instagram, and post a remark on the announcement during the Activity Period; or (2) dispatch an email to [email protected], ensuring “Soundboks Giveaway” is in the subject line and your complete legal name is in the email’s body (this information, alongside any other materials you provide in relation to the Activity, constitutes your “Entry”). Email submissions must reach the Administrator within the Activity Period. All Entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned; the Sponsor reserves the prerogative to dispose of the Entries at its sole discretion. The Sponsor bears no responsibility for any lost, tardy, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, damaged, postage due, or mechanically duplicated Entries, or for Entries that have been manipulated or not acquired through authorized channels, all of which will face disqualification. Mechanically reproduced Entries or Entries generated or submitted utilizing a robotic, automated, macro, or script apparatus, or any other automated means or method intended to compromise the integrity of the Activity as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, shall be invalid. The Sponsor is not accountable for illegible, incomplete, or pilfered Entries, or Entries that are processed belatedly, or are lost or erased due to computer or electronic malfunction, or any other anomaly. All participant data, including email addresses, is governed by the respective Privacy Policy of the Sponsor and Administrator, as detailed in Section 12 below.
4. SELECTION AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
The winner will be chosen via a random draw from all eligible submissions on or around April 8, 2026 (the “Drawing Date”). Any prospective winner shall be informed through the Administrator’s WIRED Instagram account or via email for those who submitted entries by email. Should a prospective winner: (i) prove unreachable; (ii) fail to respond within three (3) business days from the initial notification attempt by the Sponsor; (iii) neglect to submit the Affidavit and Release as stipulated herein; (iv) decline the prize; and/or (v) the prize or its notification be returned as undeliverable, such prospective winner relinquishes all entitlements to claim victory in the Activity or receive the prize, and an alternative prospective winner may be designated. Upon establishing contact with a prospective winner and ascertaining that they fulfill all eligibility criteria for the Activity, including but not limited to the completion of required waivers, publicity, and liability releases and disclaimers, and, at the Sponsor’s discretion, the successful passing of a background examination, that individual will be formally declared the “winner” of the Activity.
5. PRIZE DETAILS
One (1) victor will be awarded. The award comprises one (1) SOUNDBOKS Mix (estimated retail price: $799) and one (1) Lightboks (estimated retail price: $299). The aggregate estimated retail price (“ARV”) of the award totals: $1,098. The award will be dispatched directly to the verified winner by the Sponsor. No monetary equivalent or exchange of the prize is permissible except at the Sponsor’s discretion. The Sponsor assumes no liability for non-receipt of the prize resulting from the winner’s failure to furnish precise shipping details.
6. LEVIES
All national, state, and/or local income and other applicable taxes, if any, are the exclusive obligation of the winner.
7. PROSPECTS OF SUCCESS
The likelihood of prevailing in this Activity is contingent upon the total count of valid submissions received.
8. NO PRIZE EXCHANGE OR REPLACEMENT
No prize or any constituent part thereof is transferable or convertible to cash. No substitutions for the prize are permitted except by the Sponsor, in which event a prize of comparable or superior value will be provided as an alternative.
9. ASSENT AND INDEMNIFICATION
By participating in the Activity, each entrant indemnifies and absolves the Sponsor, Administrator, Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram, and any other party involved in the creation or management of this Activity, their parent, subsidiary, and associated entities, and each of their respective executives, board members, associates, shareholders, employees, independent contractors, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns (collectively, “Sponsor Entities”), from any and all liability whatsoever arising from this Activity, including but not limited to legal actions, expenses, injuries, losses or damages, demands, or claims of any nature (including but not limited to personal harm, fatality, damage to, loss or destruction of property, publicity or privacy rights infringements, defamation, or misrepresentation in a false light) (collectively, “Claims”). Unless expressly forbidden: (i) entry into the Activity signifies the entrant’s assent, without additional remuneration, to the utilization of their name, image, biographical particulars, and contact information for editorial, advertising, marketing, promotional, and administrative functions by the Sponsor and/or entities authorized by the Sponsor; (ii) acceptance of a prize signifies a release by any winner of the Sponsor Entities from any and all Claims pertaining to the administration of this Activity and the deployment, misuse, or possession of any prize; (iii) any prospective winner may be mandated to execute an affidavit of eligibility (including social security number) and a liability/publicity waiver; and (iv) if the prize entails travel or experiences, any prospective winner and accompanying individual (if applicable) may be required to sign waivers absolving the Sponsor of any and all responsibility related to participation in such travel/activities and/or use of the prize. Fully-executed affidavits and waivers must be delivered to the Sponsor within three (3) days from the date of the Sponsor’s initial attempt to notify the prospective winner. The Sponsor retains the right to conduct a background assessment to verify any prospective winner’s eligibility and adherence to these regulations. By entering, you consent to reasonably cooperate with any such background examination.
