The artificial intelligence chatbot Claude, developed by Anthropic, appears to have gained significantly from the publicity surrounding the firm’s challenging discussions with the Pentagon.
According to CNBC’s initial report, by Saturday afternoon, Claude currently occupies the second position among complimentary applications within Apple’s American App Store — with OpenAI’s ChatGPT holding the leading spot, and Google Gemini securing third place.
SensorTower’s statistics indicate that Claude was positioned just outside the top 100 at the close of January, and for the majority of February, it maintained a spot within the top 20. Its standing has ascended dramatically in recent days, progressing from sixth on Wednesday to fourth on Thursday, and reaching second on Saturday (the present day).
