Babcock International Group has disclosed a sequence of senior administrative shifts, encompassing the official appointment of a successor to its chief executive David Lockwood, the corporation affirmed.
Harry Holt has fully assumed the responsibilities of Deputy CEO and is poised to replace Lockwood when he steps down later in the current year. Holt will collaborate with Lockwood throughout the handover phase.
Concurrently, in another development, Neal Misell, who formerly headed Babcock’s Mission Systems division, has been designated as the Chief Executive of the corporation’s Nuclear operations. Babcock characterized Misell as possessing “an abundance of expertise, having spearheaded numerous divisions of the Babcock Group both domestically within the UK and across global operations.”
Louise Atkinson, who previously served as the firm’s Chief Human Resources Officer, succeeds Misell as the head of Mission Systems. Atkinson has devoted over thirteen years to high-level management positions, spanning Babcock’s acquisition, logistics, instruction, and military hardware departments within the Group’s Terrestrial division.
As Atkinson transitions to her new role, Jen McElhinney has been named as the provisional Chief Human Resources Officer. McElhinney had formerly held positions as Human Resources Director for organizational departments, Head of Staff assisting the Chief Human Resources Officer, and Human Resources Director for the Aeronautics sector.
Babcock stated that these alterations “demonstrate the robustness and extensive capabilities of our top management cohort and our commitment to continually constructing an enduring, prosperous destiny.”
Babcock persists with an active metamorphosis of its operations, with its Nuclear division being pinpointed by the corporation as a domain ripe for expansion.
