ORLANDO — On Friday, Luka Dončić submitted paperwork to the Superior Court of Los Angeles, requesting the dismissal of a plea initiated by his former betrothed, Anamaria Goltes. This plea aimed to secure child maintenance and legal expenses from Dončić, as disclosed by individuals acquainted with Dončić’s circumstances to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.
Goltes bore Dončić’s two daughters – Gabriela, aged 2, and Olivia, 4 months old – and resides in Slovenia alongside the children. However, she lodged her formal request in California just weeks ago.
This development emerges subsequent to Dončić lodging a temporary restraining order with the Slovenian courts last month. He sought prompt access to Gabriela and Olivia, and also aimed to address shared guardianship and child maintenance, as ESPN learned from individuals knowledgeable about Dončić’s affairs.
An inquiry from ESPN, requesting a statement from Goltes’ legal representative, Evan C. Itzkowitz, did not elicit an instant reply.
Dončić, aged 27, continues to live in Texas, subsequent to his transfer from the Dallas Mavericks to the Lakers last February, as ESPN was informed by individuals acquainted with his circumstances. Moreover, in California, one of Dončić’s offspring spent merely three months with him last spring, and his second daughter has not yet visited the state.
