An official club source informed ESPN that Inter Miami has been asked to visit the White House to commemorate their 2025 Major League Soccer Cup victory.
While Inter Miami is anticipated to be present at the gathering next week, coinciding with their trip to Washington, D.C. to compete against D.C. United, the specific arrangements are yet to be finalized.
This occasion would see Inter Miami uphold the enduring custom in U.S. athletics of honoring a championship with a gathering at the White House.
D.C. United was the initial MLS club to visit the White House in 1998, celebrating their Cup victory, whereas the LA Galaxy made several appearances after securing wins in 2011, 2012, and 2014.
David Beckham, a co-owner of Inter Miami, was present at the White House with the Galaxy in 2012, honoring their championship cup.

On December 6, The Herons secured the 2025 MLS Cup, overcoming the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, which represented the club’s inaugural league trophy.
While the squad had formerly claimed the Supporters’ Shield and Leagues Cup trophy, the MLS Cup stayed an elusive goal until they ultimately secured the championship the prior season.
