Samsung is unveiling an updated iteration of The Frame at some point during the current year; however, its precise launch date remains undisclosed, and judging by previous editions, it’s anticipated to carry a substantial price tag. Should you prefer not to delay or wish to economize, the 55-inch Hisense CanvasTV is now available at a record-low price of $599.99 (a $400 reduction) at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart, positioning it as a more economical option for acquiring an artistic television display.

This 4K QLED television boasts a slender profile and a non-glossy, anti-reflective screen that mimics a piece of art when not viewing cinematic content. While Samsung’s The Frame eventually appears more lifelike, Hisense comes sufficiently close that visuals imitate genuine prints rather than merely a digital projection. It also comes with a magnetic frame included in the packaging that is simple to attach and lends the television the appearance of a framed masterpiece – a feature for which Samsung usually levies an additional fee. Furthermore, Hisense provides complimentary entry to more than a thousand artistic creations, showcasing abstract, contemporary, and Renaissance aesthetics, including renowned works from painters like Van Gogh and Monet.

The Hisense is additionally a proficient television set. It operates on the Google TV platform, which is more user-friendly to navigate than Samsung’s Tizen OS, and accommodates all primary streaming applications, such as Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max. It is also compatible with Dolby Vision, ensuring visuals appear more luminous and intricate, and provides a fluctuating refresh rate up to 144Hz to ensure more fluid movement during the viewing of rapid-action sports events. This elevated refresh rate similarly renders the television suitable for gaming, particularly since Hisense incorporates two HDMI 2.1 connectors and AMD FreeSync Premium, a feature that aids in reducing screen tearing. Furthermore, with compatibility for Chromecast, Apple AirPlay, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa, transferring media from your mobile device is straightforward, as is managing the television using vocal commands.
